Hey Reader!

When my son was just a toddler, I noticed something unique about him. By age one, he was already fascinated with vehicles. I’d place magnets on the refrigerator and we would play our own little game: “Go get Mommy the digger.” Off he would go, proudly returning with the digger. “Now go get the fire truck.” Without hesitation, the fire truck appeared. His passion was so clear, even then, it was almost like watching his purpose whisper through the everyday moments.

By three, he had moved on to a thick little book of Super Cars. He’d turn those pages over and over until the book literally fell apart from his tiny hands flipping them so often. At ten, he could identify every car on the highway at night…just from the headlights. By fourteen, he was taking photos of exotic cars with an artistic eye that went far beyond the average teenage hobby.

You might think, “Well, that’s a little weird.” And you’d be right. He was completely obsessed with cars. But that quirky obsession turned out to be his brand. Ten days after graduating college, he landed a job with a custom restoration company that builds million-dollar 4x4 classics with modern design. They saw what we had always seen—his passion, his brilliance, and his uniquely wired brain.

What once looked like a quirky fixation became his greatest asset. His “weird” wasn’t a liability; it was his differentiator. And that’s the heart of this week’s conversation with brand strategist Valeria Basso. Together, we explored what it means to lean into our quirks, trust ourselves fully, and let our “freak flag fly” in order to stand out in a noisy, one-size-fits-all marketing world.

Because here’s the truth: the very thing you think makes you “too much” or “too different” might just be the thing that makes you unforgettable.

XOXO,

Lori

This week on The
OfferMojo Show

I sat down with brand strategist and healer Valeria Basso for a conversation that will shift how you see branding and marketing. Valeria calls herself a “renegade marketer” because she blends branding with coaching, hypnotherapy, and quantum human design.

We explored why tactics alone rarely stick, how unresolved fears create blocks, and why your quirks may actually be your biggest business advantage. If you’ve ever felt out of place with traditional marketing advice—or wondered how to bring all your passions under one message—this episode is a must-listen.

OFFER TIP OF THE WEEK 💡

All the strategies in the world can work—and none of them works—until you choose the one that’s aligned with you. Valeria reminded us that branding and marketing your offers is just as much about healing the inner stories as it is about crafting a clever tagline.

This week’s blog goes deeper into her insights, including how to avoid vagueness in your message, what to do if niching feels like a straightjacket, and why “what you think is wrong with you” may actually be your marketable brilliance.

HOT SOCIAL DROP 🔥

Perfectionism kills momentum. Procrastination kills momentum. But living unapologetically in the in-between? That’s where clarity and movement live. I recently shared how I’m a recovering perfectionist (my mom still says “incurable!”) and why I now publish my podcast every week—even with mistakes. Because momentum matters more than perfection. Which one challenges you most right now: perfectionism or procrastination?

WHAT I'M LOVING 💜

I’ve been diving into The Scalable Coach, a digital magazine created for coaches, speakers, healers, and thought leaders. What I love most is how it pulls back the curtain on success—not the glossy highlight reel, but the real behind-the-scenes stories of growth. Because let’s be honest, growth isn’t always pretty, and this magazine reminds us that the messy middle is part of the journey too.
